Sound the alarms!
A 5-man fleet of firemen just left our house...you'd think I'd just burned the kitchen down or something! No, apparently it takes that many firemen to perform a fire inspection of our house (which basically requires them to walk around the house and check our smoke alarms) This is something required by the state for our home study report. Everything was in working order and we passed with flying colors! That was the last of many things we had to do before our home study interviews can begin. Completing the home study will be our first big milestone in this process!
